Kristi Jordan is a social work professional, educator, and advocate with over 15 years of experience serving women, children, and families within human service and nonprofit systems. She holds an Associate’s degree in Human Service Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and a Master’s degree in Military Social Work.
Kristi’s journey into higher education began as a pathway out of a challenging family environment—but over time, it became something far deeper. Through both lived experience and professional practice, she discovered that education is not an endpoint, but one vital thread in the larger, dynamic fabric of personal growth, identity, and community connection.
Throughout her career, Kristi has served in a wide range of roles, including child protection professional, advocate, other abilities advocate, skills development specialist, and therapist. However, it was through learning to advocate and process grief through a spiritual lens that widened her eyes to patterns in her life.
Kristi is deeply committed to nonviolent, community-centered approaches to complex social challenges. Her work centers on supporting women and children as they move beyond difficult circumstances and toward healthy, connected, and empowered lives. She believes that healing and growth are amplified through intentional community, and that belonging can be transformative when cultivated with care and purpose.
In her current work, Kristi uses creativity and clarity to highlight personal choice and celebrate truth speaking with integrity. She specializes in using personal voice to empower herself and other women.
At the heart of Kristi’s work is a belief in personal agency, shared wisdom, and the quiet magic that emerges when individuals are seen, supported, and welcomed into community.
